Peace and Security at the University of Groningen - 6-7 June Groningen

In Cooperation with the University of Groningen and the Dutch Defence Platform, TEIMUN organises a two day crisis simulation in which students have to come to a peaceful solution. The simulation is part of the minor Peace and Security lectured at the University of Groningen. In these two days the students are supposed to defend the interest of their assigned actor in a realistic manner. At the same time they have to come to a compromise and write a good resolution to solve the crisis peacefully. In a Special Committee on the Situation in Egypt, the participants found themselves challenged in dealing with an international crisis under time pressure.
