Letícia Montagnana Ardanuy
Interested in becoming the next Chairman of TEIMUN?
If you like to have a function with a lot of variety, where you can combine your creativity with structural tasks, then the function of Secretary & Public Relation would fit you perfectly!
As the secretary, you will be responsible for writing the minutes of the meetings, separate the tasks and send it to the rest of the Board and the Supervisory Board afterwards. Besides this, you will be responsible to check the general email account and the archiving of the material and documents that are produced by TEIMUN or used during the year. As the secretary, you will also have the supporting function of Vice-Chairman.
Additionally, the Public Relations part of TEIMUN is where you can explore your creativity the most! You will design the promotion material for both GrunnMUN and TEIMUN, including posters, brochures, flyers, and posters. Moreover, you will be responsible for the social media; posting relevant news on Facebook, twitter, newsletters, creating promotion ‘aftermovies’ and pretty much incorporating any ideas that would be suitable for attracting participants to the conference. And, of course, you can always count on the participants-coordinators (and other members of the board) to help you out.
During the conferences itself, you are will be responsible for organising the work for the journalists, in order to publish a daily newspaper during GrunnMUN and TEIMUN.
So in conclusion, the variety of different tasks makes this function very challenging. If you are creative but also organised, this function will definitely be something for you! This is a perfect change to expand your network and develop your creative skills!
If you have any questions about my function or about a TEIMUN board year in general you are always welcome to contact me at email@example.com. Hopefully I will have a chance to meet you at the Board Interest Drinks at Café the Crown on the 25th of April at 19.30h.
