Dear friend of TEIMUN,

Are you looking for a challenging board position next to your studies? Would you like to work in an international environment and have contact with people from all over the world? Then applying to be the Participants Coordinator Non-Western 2015-2016 is the right thing to do!

The Participants Coordinator Non-Western (PCNW) interacts with students, universities and embassies all over the globe. Together with the other PC, you are responsible for the promotion of the conference by using our international network of promoters, personal and professional contacts and all other options imaginable. In doing this, we manage to organise over 200 students from all over the world in getting to each year’s edition of the TEIMUN conference in The Hague.

Besides this, the Participants Coordinator has to screen all of the applications from students of non-western origins (students from Asia, Africa and South America), and decide whether or not they are eligible to participate in the conference. When a delegate or delegation is accepted, your job is not done yet, since you have to make sure they get everything they need in order to get to the Netherlands. Most of the time this includes Visas, advice on transportation, information about locations to stay and all other questions concerned.

At both GrunnMUN and TEIMUN the two Participants Coordinators are the face of the foundation. The two of you will be the contact point for all questions that arise among the participants. You will meet everybody personally and it is your task that everybody feels welcome, helped and provided with all the needs for an amazing time.

Looking forward to your application,

Joost Kielstra
